Trades Opened in Short Period of time
Trades Opened in Short Period of time
Updated over a week ago

In regard to placing trades in short periods, note that the minimum is 30 seconds meaning that trades placed in gaps less than that are considered to be composing an HFT pattern. Trades executed within 30 seconds will be combined and counted as one both for volume and profit consistency, so if a trade gets executed at the same time as another trade, they will be combined.

Recommended is 45s to 1m to avoid a violation.

For example: Say I open 2 trades for XAUUSD one at 8:29:30 and the next one at 8:29:55. The result of both trades would get combined. If I used 2 lots for the first and 1.25 for the second it would be viewed as a single trade of 3.25 lots. The 50% rule also would apply directly to the combined trades
